Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Technical Product Manager to drive EW and sensing product requirements, backlog, and revenue growth. You will translate complex defense needs into hardware specifications and software features while coordinating with hardware and software teams.

Based in Irvine, CA with hybrid work and travel up to 25–50%, you will own NPI cycles for FASST/LSNRS, ensure end-to-end UX, and lead cross-functional efforts to meet aggressive deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in technical product management or systems engineering in defense/aerospace/wireless.
• Strong knowledge of wireless comms, RF systems, signal processing, SDRs, mesh networks, or EM spectrum ops.
• Ability to translate high-level military/tactical use cases into structured technical requirements.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams to meet release dates.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• All employment contingent upon successful background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Translate tactical EW mission capabilities into granular software user stories and hardware/sensor configurations.
• Direct hardware NPI cycles and validate end-to-end user experience for FASST Handheld and LSNRS portfolios.
• Own transceiver operation for edge node operations.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams.
• Sprint and backlog ownership for EW-related software features, firmware builds, and updates.
• Perform scope & trade-off analysis balancing schedules with field expectations.
• Oversee lifecycle and physical NPI of FASST and LSNRS from concept to deployment.
• Post-launch: measure performance, drive adoption, and collaborate with Sales.
