Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Technical Product Manager to translate defense requirements into hardware/software specs and own the EW/Sensing product lifecycle. Location is Irvine, CA with hybrid work and US remote eligibility; travel up to 25-50% may be required.

You will own NPI for FASST/LSNRS, manage technical backlogs, and collaborate across R&D, operations, sales, and customers to drive adoption and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering in defense, aerospace, or wireless.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communications, RF systems, SDRs, or mesh networks.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months; U.S. Citizen required.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level military/tactical use cases into technical requirements.
• Own NPI for FASST Handheld and LSNRS products and optimize hardware platforms.
• Define how the transceiver operates for edge-node operations.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences for EW software features.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, operations, and sales to align priorities.
• Travel up to 25% for field testing and customer meetings.
