Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Technical Product Manager to drive requirements, backlog, market adoption, and revenue for the EW & Sensing portfolio. The role reports to the Director of Product Management on the Product team, based in Irvine, CA with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering experience in defense, aerospace, or wireless comms.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communications, RF systems, signal processing, SDRs, mesh networking or EM spectrum operations.
• Proven ability to translate high-level military or tactical use cases into structured technical requirements.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level tactical EW mission capabilities into granular software stories and hardware configurations.
• Own NPI cycles for FASST Handheld and LSNRS portfolios, ensuring end-to-end user experience.
• Define how transceiver operates for edge node operations and collaborate with hardware/software teams.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and releases for EW-related software features and firmware.
• Coordinate with Sales, Applications Engineering, and field teams to align feature priorities with customer needs.
