Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a results-driven Lead Generation Specialist to identify prospective customers, qualify inquiries, and generate sales opportunities for the outside sales team. Through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, and research you will connect with decision-makers and schedule product demonstrations.

This on-site role requires strong communication, persistence, and excellent organization to develop opportunities and maintain timely follow-up with prospects.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in outbound calling or lead generation.
• Experience in a technical, manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environment is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident telephone presence and comfort initiating conversations.
• Strong listening and discovery skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume outbound calls and meet goals.
• Proficiency with CRM and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective customers and target accounts.
• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to introduce solutions.
• Use email, LinkedIn, and other channels to support prospecting.
• Identify decision-makers and potential product users.
• Build prospect lists based on industry, territory, and campaigns.
• Tailor outreach to each prospect’s business needs.
• Generate qualified product demonstrations and appointments.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and follow up.
• Schedule demonstrations with field sales.
• Maintain CRM accuracy and complete records.
• Track activity against performance goals.
• Maintain strong standards for CRM accuracy and completeness.
