Job summary

Your Talent Team is recruiting a Lead Generation Specialist for a manufacturing technology client. You will identify prospective customers, qualify inquiries, and generate sales opportunities for the outside sales team through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, and targeted research.

The role emphasizes initiating conversations, understanding customer needs, and scheduling product demonstrations and sales appointments.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in outbound calling, lead generation, inside sales, or related customer-facing role.
• Experience in a technical, manufacturing, industrial, scientific, or B2B environment is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident telephone presence and ability to initiate conversations with new prospects.
• Strong listening and discovery skills.
• Ability to manage high volume outbound calls and meet goals.
• Strong research, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to learn technical products and explain their value clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Salesforce CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting & Lead Generation: Research prospective customers, target accounts, and market opportunities.
• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to introduce solutions and engage potential customers.
• Use email, LinkedIn, and other channels to support prospecting efforts.
• Identify decision-makers and potential product users within target organizations.
• Build prospect lists based on industry, application, territory, and campaigns.
• Tailor outreach to each prospect’s business needs and challenges.
• Generate qualified product demonstrations and appointments for outside sales representatives.
