Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Boise, Idaho. The role supports the Sales and Customer Service OEM team with world-class service, order entry, quotes, RMAs, and contract negotiations.

You will travel regionally up to 10%, learn product concepts and technical details, and work with ERP/CRM tools. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Associate degree or related business experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Willing to travel regionally up to 10%.
• Ability to learn product concepts and technical details.
• Strong writing, proofreading, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and responsibilities.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Experience with ERP or CRM tools.
• Experience in a technical sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing world-class customer care to internal and external customers.
• Engaging in regional customer support activities with orders, quotes, RMAs, pricing and contract negotiation, and specifications.
• Communicating with customers and sales reps on deliverables and issues with supervision guidance.
• Completing required Customer Service Representative process certifications.
• Using judgment and company policies to resolve standard regional problems.
• Assisting with customer feedback tracking and driving customer satisfaction.
