Job summary

Parts Town LLC is seeking an Inside Service Technician (Tech Wizard) to provide remote and on-site support for cold side foodservice equipment. You will communicate with end users and field technicians, troubleshoot issues, and guide repairs over the phone or via email.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC (or relevant training/schooling).
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Reliable high-speed internet at home.
• Comfort using a computer and programs like MS Word & Outlook.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and clearly convey equipment information and troubleshooting steps.
• Deliver technical support to end users and field technicians via phone and email (33+ cases per day).
• Use manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Log customer interactions in the company database for future reference.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to suggest engineering changes and document failure rates.
