Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician (Tech Wizard) to provide phone/email support for warranty and non‑warranty foodservice equipment. After onboarding, you may earn CFESA certifications and join a dynamic Technical Service team.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, problem solving, and collaboration with manufacturers to improve equipment reliability. An 8‑hour shift M‑F and on‑site hybrid work are typical expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC or relevant training/schooling.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• High-speed internet connection at home.
• Comfort using a computer and programs like MS Word & Outlook.
• Passion for troubleshooting and finding innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate equipment information clearly.
• Offer technical support to end users and field technicians via phone or email (30+ cases per day).
• Use manuals, diagrams and parts listings to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Document all customer interactions in the company database for future inquiries.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to report failures and suggest engineering changes.
