Parts Town is looking for an Inside Service Technician (also known as a Tech Wizard) to directly communicate with end users and field technicians, providing technical support over the phone and email for repairs on warranty and non-warranty cold side foodservice equipment. After onboarding, there is an opportunity to earn CFESA certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Excellent communication in English, written and verbal.
• Reliable high-speed internet at home and comfortable with MS Word & Outlook.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Available for an 8-hour shift Mon-Fri 7:00-19:00 CST / 8:00-20:00 EST.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, communicating equipment information and troubleshooting solutions clearly.
• Offer technical support to end users and field technicians via phone and email (30+ cases per day).
• Use manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Log all call information in the company database for future inquiries.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to suggest engineering changes and document failure rates.
