Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician (Tech Wizard) to support end users and field technicians, primarily via phone or email. You will help diagnose repairs on warranty and non-warranty cold side foodservice equipment and can pursue CFESA certifications after onboarding.

You will work closely with manufacturers, maintain case notes, and aim for high-quality service while embracing a fast-paced, fun team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• High-speed internet at home.
• Proficient with MS Word and Outlook.
• Passionate about troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Available to work an 8-hour shift Mon-Fri 7:00–19:00 CST / 8:00–20:00 EST.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and troubleshoot equipment information.
• Give technical support to end users and field technicians (30+ cases per day).
• Use manuals, diagrams, and listings to diagnose and fix issues.
• Document all customer call information in the database.
• Collaborate with manufacturers on changes and failure rates.
