Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician (Tech Wizard) to communicate with end users and field technicians, providing phone/email support for repairs on warranty and non-warranty equipment. On onboarding, there is an opportunity to earn CFESA certifications.

You will resolve issues using manuals and diagrams, document interactions in our database, and work with manufacturers on changes. This role offers CFESA certs potential and a dynamic team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in appliance repair (electric/gas), refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal.
• Reliable high-speed internet at home.
• Proficient with MS Word and Outlook on a computer.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team setting.
• Available to work an 8-hour shift Mon-Fri 7:00-19:00 CST / 8:00-20:00 EST with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email.
• Offer technical support to end users and field technicians (30+ cases daily).
• Use manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts lists to diagnose issues.
• Document all call details in the company database.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to request engineering changes.
