Parts Town in the United States is seeking an Inside Service Technician (Tech Wizard) to support end users and field technicians by phone or email, diagnosing and repairing foodservice equipment under warranty or not.

After onboarding, opportunities to earn CFESA certifications; you will handle 30+ cases daily, maintain records, and collaborate with manufacturers. The role offers Remote-friendly options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Good internet connection at home.
• Proficient with MS Word and Outlook.
• Passionate about troubleshooting and finding innovative solutions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Available to work an 8 hour shift M-F across CST/EST.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, communicating equipment information and troubleshooting solutions in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide technical support to end users and field technicians over the phone and/or via email (30+ cases per day).
• Utilize equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain all customer call information into a company database to better assist future inquiries.
• Work closely with manufacturers to recommend engineering changes and document equipment/component failure rates.
