Job summary

Best Buy's Geek Squad Agent role in Geneva, IL, welcomes you as the first point of contact for technology support. You’ll assess customer needs, perform basic services and coordinate with other agents to resolve issues.

You will help customers set up new devices, provide guidance on repair or replacement, and maintain knowledge through ongoing training. A 3-month retail or customer service background and flexible hours including evenings and weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Willingness to learn technology and provide accurate time estimates.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking notes and providing accurate time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
