Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent at our East Rutherford store to be the first point of contact for technology support. You’ll assess customer needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on complex repairs, while delivering friendly, fast service in-store.

This role requires at least 3 months of retail or customer service experience and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement decisions.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
