Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role invites you to be the first point of contact for technology support at the Wheeling, WV store. You’ll assess needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents to resolve issues.

This position requires at least 3 months of retail or customer service experience, a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends, and a passion for technology. Training and resources are provided to help you grow.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
