Job summary

Best Buy Co. is hiring a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our Katy, Texas store.

You’ll assess needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs, while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service to customers. You’ll handle check-in/out, diagnose issues, guide repairs or replacements, keep customers informed of status, complete training, and work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing accurate time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
