Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role is the first point of contact for technology support at the Pittsburgh store. You’ll be trained to assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

Responsibilities include assisting customers during check-in and checkout, asking clarifying questions, providing next-step estimates, and helping set up devices. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Flexibility to work holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening and taking notes.
• Provide advice on whether to repair or replace devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
