Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first contact for technology support and solutions at our local store. You will receive training and resources to assess needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on complex repairs, helping friends and family with tech questions along the way.

You’ll help customers, understand issues, set up new devices, and provide status updates while maintaining product knowledge and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service are required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing accurate time estimates for next steps
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replace decisions
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents
