Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role places you at the front line of tech support in-store, helping customers with devices and knowledge. You’ll assess needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

You’ll receive training to grow your skills, assist customers with setup, and guide decisions on repair vs. replacement while keeping them informed about service status. The position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking notes.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement.
• Monitor service queues and give accurate status updates.
• Maintain knowledge through training courses and certifications.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
