Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role offers the chance to be the first point of contact for customers seeking tech support in our local store. You’ll assess needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs, while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service to every guest.

You’ll gain hands-on training, flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, and opportunities to grow with ongoing tech education.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• An interest in technology and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with check-in and checkout and provide positive service.
• Identify issues by asking questions and provide accurate next steps.
• Help customers set up devices and advise on repair or replacement.
• Monitor service queues and update customers on status.
• Maintain knowledge through training courses.
• Communicate clearly with fellow agents.
