Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first contact for technology support and solutions for computers and devices. You’ll receive training to assess customer needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

Key responsibilities include delivering friendly service during check-in/out, diagnosing issues by asking questions, assisting with device setup, and communicating status updates. Flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Strong interest in technology and problem solving.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, taking notes and giving time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
• Work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
