Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our store. You will assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

Responsibilities include assisting customers during check-in/out, explaining options for repair or replacement, and managing service queues. A minimum of 3 months in retail or customer service is required, with a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Strong interest in technology and ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement options.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through ongoing training and certifications.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents to resolve issues.
