Job summary

Best Buy Geek Squad Agent role at our local store provides technology support and solutions. You’ll be the first contact for customers seeking help with computers and devices, with training to assess needs and perform basic services.

You will set up new devices, advise on repair or replacement, and work with fellow agents to handle more complex repairs. Flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends is needed.

Qualifications

• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast-paced industry.
• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
