Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for customers seeking technology support, knowledge and solutions for computers and other devices at our local Best Buy store. We provide training and resources to assess needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
