Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our local store. You will assess customer needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs. Training and resources are provided to help you grow in this role.

In this position you will help customers with device setup, advise on repair vs replacement, and communicate clearly about next steps. A technology passion and service mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout processes.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement options.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
