Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our local store. You will assess customers’ needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

You’ll receive the training and resources needed to stay current, help customers set up devices, and advise on repair or replacement options while maintaining friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
