Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first contact for technology support at our local store. You will receive training to assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

If friends and family come to you with tech questions, this role could be a great fit. As part of the team, you will help customers with check-in and checkout, understand and explain tech issues, and guide decisions on repair or replacement.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing accurate time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement options.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
