Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support and guidance for computers and devices at our local Best Buy store. The role includes training, basic services, and collaboration with other agents on more complex repairs to ensure customers receive efficient solutions.

You will greet customers, assess needs, set expectations with accurate time estimates, and assist with device setup or guidance on repair or replacement options.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing accurate time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement decisions.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through ongoing training and certifications.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
