Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our local store. You will receive training and resources to assess customer needs, perform basic services, and partner with colleagues on more complex repairs.

You'll help customers understand issues, set up devices, and decide between repair or replacement. This role requires at least 3 months in retail or customer service and a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair versus replacement decisions.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses and collaborate with fellow agents.
