Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support and solutions for computers and devices at our local store. You’ll receive training to assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

You’ll help customers with check-in/check-out, diagnose issues by asking questions and providing time estimates, and guide decisions on repair or replacement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Strong communication and listening skills to understand customer needs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand issues by asking questions and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement options.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through training and certification courses.
• Communicate clearly with fellow agents.
