Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated Service Experience Advisor to be the first point of contact for customers at the Knowledge Bar. This entry-level role blends basic tech understanding with strong people skills to guide service intake and propose solutions, while highlighting benefits like PriorityCare+, Data Backup, and ESET.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• No prior technical experience required.
• Strong preference given to candidates with customer-facing commissioned sales, hospitality, and/or retail experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport, earn trust, and explain services or solutions clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted point of contact for walk-in or scheduled customers.
• Listen actively and guide them to appropriate service solutions.
• Recommend value-added services such as PriorityCare+, Data Backup, ESET, and other products.
• Communicate pricing, timelines, and expectations at check-in.
• Assist in basic troubleshooting and route work orders to the appropriate service queues.
• Process service and POS transactions accurately.
• Maintain minimum attachment rates and productivity standards.
• Stay informed of promotions and attachment opportunities.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding service status.
• Obtain required certifications as directed by management.
• Keep a clean, organized workspace.
