Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated Service Experience Advisor to be the customer’s first contact for technical service at the Knowledge Bar. The role blends basic technical understanding with strong people skills to guide service intake, recommend actions, and ensure confidence in the repair process.

This entry-level opportunity emphasizes sales, hospitality, and customer service experience, with performance-based pay and commission opportunities to boost earnings potential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• No prior technical experience required.
• Preference for candidates with customer-facing commissioned sales, hospitality, or retail experience.
• Ability to build rapport and explain services clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted point of contact for walk-in or scheduled customers at the Knowledge Bar.
• Listen actively to customer concerns and guide them to service solutions.
• Recommend value-added services such as PriorityCare+, Data Backup, and ESET.
• Clearly communicate estimated pricing and timelines at check-in.
• Assist in basic troubleshooting and route work orders to service queues.
• Process service and point-of-sale transactions accurately.
• Maintain minimum attachment rates and productivity standards.
• Stay informed of current promotions and attachment opportunities.
• Provide timely, professional updates on service status.
• Obtain required certifications as directed by management.
