Job summary

Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated SERVICE EXPERIENCE ADVISOR at the Fairfax Knowledge Bar. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers seeking service, guiding them through options and advising on Value-added services while delivering a high-touch experience.

No prior technical experience is required, and performance-based pay with commission opportunities offers earning potential for strong performers who deliver great service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior technical experience is required.
• Customer-facing sales or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Ability to build rapport and explain services clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted point of contact for walk-in or scheduled customers.
• Listen actively and guide customers through service solutions.
• Recommend PriorityCare+, Data Backup, ESET and other offerings.
• Clearly communicate pricing, timelines and expectations at check-in.
• Assist in basic troubleshooting and route work orders to queues.
• Process service and POS transactions accurately.
• Maintain minimum attachment rates and productivity standards.
• Stay informed of promotions and attachment opportunities.
• Provide timely updates on service status to customers.
• Obtain required certifications as directed by management.
• Keep workspace clean, organized and customer-ready.
