Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to join our state-of-the-art service departments. You’ll be the go-between for service technicians and customers, explaining recommendations in plain language and spotting up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, meeting sales and customer satisfaction targets, greeting customers, determining needs, preparing repair orders, and coordinating with technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments for a great service experience.
• Greet customers and identify vehicle needs based on walk-arounds and test drives.
• Explain technician recommendations in plain language and suggest up-sell opportunities.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates; maintain transparent communication with customers.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers on vehicle status and satisfaction.
