Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge customers and technicians in our state-of-the-art service departments in Texas. You’ll set appointments, greet customers, and explain service recommendations in clear terms while spotting upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe and drivers confident.

You’ll work with technicians and parts staff to produce transparent estimates, pursue sales and CSI targets, and follow up to ensure satisfaction, building lasting loyalty with every visit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer experience required.
• Ability to meet targeted sales goals and CSI.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers, ensuring a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and CSI targets.
• Greet customers and explain service recommendations in clear, plain language.
• Determine vehicle needs via walk-around, inspections and test drives.
• Produce repair orders with estimates, with full transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
