Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge customers and technicians in our state-of-the-art service departments. You will explain technician recommendations in clear terms and identify up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

You will greet customers, schedule appointments, and guide them through maintenance plans while meeting sales and satisfaction targets. Strong communication and tech-savvy skills are required for success in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills are essential.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals and work toward sales objectives.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm appointments for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Greet customers warmly as they arrive.
• Identify vehicle needs via information gathering, walk-arounds, inspections and test drives.
• Use consultative selling to plan for ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work completion.
• Follow up with customers to inform and ensure satisfaction.
• Develop product knowledge to better assist customers.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
