Job summary

Lending Club is seeking a People Success Director to serve as a strategic HR partner to our Technology organization, driving talent initiatives that improve performance, engagement, and team effectiveness at scale.

You will shape the people strategy, translate priorities into programs across development, succession, and leadership, and partner with senior tech leaders to execute with data-backed insights and responsible AI-enabled processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HR generalist or HR business partner experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting Technology, Engineering, or Product organizations as an HR business partner.
• Familiarity with AI-powered HR tools and experience incorporating them into workflows with appropriate oversight.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry.
• Background in building or scaling HR programs in a growth-stage or transforming organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic HR partner to the Technology leadership team.
• Shape and execute people strategy within a fast-moving, technically complex environment.
• Translate business priorities into talent, development, and organizational health programs.
• Advise and coach engineering and tech managers and employees on performance management and career development.
• Design and facilitate development programs for people managers and individual contributors in technical roles.
• Identify opportunities to improve how people work, including AI-enabled workflows, and bring ideas to life.
• Leverage data and analytics to understand workforce trends and inform senior technology leader decisions.
• Ensure a seamless employee experience across HR programs and processes, aligning with policies and values.
