Job summary

Method is hiring its first Director of People to build and scale the HR function as the company grows. You will shape performance, compensation, benefits, and culture, partnering with founders and leaders to design scalable programs in a lean, AI-informed environment.

You will lead a small team, collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Finance, and drive operational HR excellence across HQ hubs in NYC, Austin, SF, and DC, with occasional remote weeks as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience as the primary HR point-of-contact in a high-growth company.
• Led people programs at a venture-backed startup through Series B–D.
• Experience building compensation and leveling programs from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead all facets of the People function at Method.
• Coach managers and develop leadership grounded in values.
• Refine performance management and build leveling frameworks.
• Own total rewards strategy, compensation philosophy, benchmarking and reviews.
• Build HR analytics dashboards and run reports to guide programs.
• Oversee onboarding, global mobility, and immigration processes.
