Job summary

Capital One seeks a Principal Associate, Tech Operations to provide onsite technology support for a dispersed enterprise workforce. You will oversee end user support, incident and change management, knowledge management, endpoint management, and business controls with emphasis on operational reliability.

The role requires strong customer service, quick problem solving, and collaboration. You’ll work with Windows, Mac, and mobile devices and contribute to automation and IT processes across teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• 2 years of experience managing IT projects or operations teams.
• 4 years of experience supporting or administering monitoring, alerting, and escalation systems.
• 4 years of Technical Operations experience.
• 4 years of experience with IT systems and infrastructure.
• 4 years of experience with desktop platforms and operating systems.
• 4 years of experience with incident management and reporting tools.
• 4 years of experience working with networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• 4 years of experience using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems, alerts, and dashboards to identify incidents and escalate when needed.
• Document recurring issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in knowledge base articles and SOPs.
