Job summary

EY Global Payroll Operate (GPO) seeks a Manager – Technology Lead Consultant to drive technology implementations for global payroll platforms. You’ll translate client payroll needs into technical designs and coordinate across data, testing, and product teams.

You will lead workshops, validate requirements, and ensure alignment with EY standards while delivering end-to-end technology components in a global, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Business, Engineering, MIS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technology point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders on GPO technology-related topics throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Lead client-facing workshops, discovery sessions, and design discussions to gather, clarify, and validate business, technical, data, reporting, workflow, and integration requirements.
• Clearly explain GPO technology capabilities, constraints, design decisions, dependencies, and delivery expectations to client stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations.
• Translate client requirements into structured functional and technical design documentation for GPO tools such as DigiPay, Payroll Command Centre, workflow components, integration components, and related technology solutions.
• Ensure requirements and proposed solutions align with GPO global standards, approved delivery methodologies, compliance expectations, and client-specific needs.
• Coordinate with the Technology Configurator to clarify requirements, explain design intent, review configuration outputs, and support issue resolution against documented requirements.
• Work with data migration, testing, payroll, product, and implementation teams to support seamless end-to-end delivery of technology components.
• Monitor technology implementation progress, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate to implementation leads or senior stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of requirements, solution designs, technology decisions, assumptions, configuration review outcomes, and client validations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of GPO technology methodologies, templates, documentation, reusable assets, and lessons learned.
