Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager – Technology Lead Consultant to drive technology-led payroll implementations within GPO. You will bridge clients and internal configurators, translating payroll needs into clear technical designs and ensuring alignment with global standards.

You’ll lead workshops, coordinate across data migration, testing, payroll, and product teams, and help shape reusable assets and documentation for future engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field required or preferred.
• Experience with global payroll platforms or HR technology ecosystems.
• Approved technical certification is required.
• Project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technology contact for clients and internal stakeholders during GPO implementations.
• Lead client-facing workshops and design discussions to gather requirements.
• Explain GPO technology capabilities and delivery expectations to stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations.
• Translate requirements into functional/technical design documentation for GPO tools.
• Ensure solutions align with GPO standards and client needs.
• Coordinate with Technology Configurator to review outputs and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with data migration, testing, payroll, product, and implementation teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies; escalate as needed.
• Maintain documentation of requirements, designs, decisions, and validations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of GPO technology methods and assets.
