Job summary

EY Global Payroll Operate (GPO) seeks a Manager – Technology Lead Consultant to drive technology delivery for payroll solutions. You will translate client payroll needs into clear tech specs, lead workshops, and coordinate across data, testing, and product teams to ensure delivery aligns with EY standards.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, articulate design decisions, manage stakeholder expectations, and contribute to continuous improvement of GPO methodologies and assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Business, Engineering, MIS, HR or related field.
• Experience with global payroll platforms or HR technology ecosystems.
• Approved technical certification is required.
• Project management experience.
• Familiarity with DigiPay, Payroll Command Centre, workflow components and integration components.
• Experience with configuration, development, data migration, testing, or integration teams.
• PM/delivery methodology experience (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• SAP US payroll implementation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technology point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders on GPO technology-related topics throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Lead client-facing workshops, discovery sessions, and design discussions to gather and validate requirements.
• Explain GPO technology capabilities, constraints, and delivery expectations to stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations.
• Translate requirements into functional and technical design documentation for GPO tools and integrations.
• Ensure requirements align with GPO standards, delivery methodologies, and client needs.
• Coordinate with the Technology Configurator to review requirements and support issue resolution.
• Collaborate with data migration, testing, payroll, product, and implementation teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Monitor progress, risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate when needed.
• Maintain documentation of requirements, designs, decisions, and validations.
