Job summary

EY Global Payroll Operate (GPO) is delivering standardized, scalable payroll services across 150+ countries. The Manager – Technology Lead Consultant leads technology implementations, coordinating across business, data, testing and product teams to meet client requirements.

This role translates business requirements into clear design specs, ensuring alignment with GPO standards and delivering a trusted technology delivery journey for clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, engineering, MIS or related field preferred.
• Experience with global payroll platforms, HR technology ecosystems or managed payroll service delivery models.
• Approved technical certification is required.
• Project management experience.
• Familiarity with GPO tools and delivery models, including DigiPay and Payroll Command Centre.
• Experience collaborating with configuration, development, data migration, testing or integration teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technology point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders on GPO technology topics throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Lead client-facing workshops, discovery sessions, and design discussions to gather, clarify, and validate requirements.
• Explain GPO capabilities, constraints, decisions, dependencies, and delivery expectations to stakeholders.
• Translate client requirements into structured functional and technical design documentation for GPO tools.
• Ensure requirements align with global standards, delivery methodologies, compliance, and client needs.
• Coordinate with the Technology Configurator to clarify requirements and review configurations.
• Work with data migration, testing, payroll, product, and implementation teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Monitor progress, risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate when needed.
• Maintain documentation of requirements, decisions, and validations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of GPO technology methodologies and templates.
