Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Tech-Advisor to support automotive service operations at our NH location. The role combines counter service as a writer and shop technician duties, following VIP processes to educate customers about vehicle conditions and recommended solutions.

The Tech-Advisor will participate in LMS and vendor trainings, and pursue ASE certifications (C1, P2, G1, A4, A5). Strong communication and teamwork are essential to deliver a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority; follow safety policies and training.
• Assist customers at counter as service writer; educate on vehicle conditions.
• Perform technicians' duties when required and complete services per VIP standards.
• Complete required LMS and vendor trainings; obtain ASE and related certifications.
• Achieve high customer engagement and productive billed hours.
• Communicate with the team and support VIP process improvements.
• Maintain facility and equipment in good condition and compliant with codes.
• Enforce service ethics and regulatory compliance.
