Job summary

The Colonial Group is seeking a Tech-Advisor to support VIP automotive service delivery in Bedford, NH. You will work at the counter and in the shop, assisting service writers and technicians, while educating customers on vehicle conditions and VIP standards.

You will pursue required LMS trainings and ASE certifications, uphold safety and procedural compliance, and contribute to a high-performance, customer-focused team focused on delivering a superior experience.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• 1. Maintain workplace safety as priority and follow all safety policies.
• 2. Serve customers at the counter as a service writer, educating them per VIP processes.
• 3. Assist in the shop as a technician, completing services per VIP standards.
• 4. Complete required LMS training and vendor training for both Service Writer and Installation Technician roles.
• 5. Strive for above-average customer engagement and billed hours.
• 6. Learn VIP processes and help deliver a better customer experience.
• 7. Obtain and maintain LMS and vendor certifications (BATS, TPMS, ASE).
• 8. Maintain facility and equipment condition and safety compliance.
• 9. Enforce compliance with service ethics and regulations.
• Additional responsibilities include communicating with management to ensure policy adherence and performance monitoring.
