Colonial Group is seeking a Tech-Advisor to live VIP values by driving exceptional customer experiences at the Ellsworth location. The role blends service-writing with hands-on technician duties, ensuring accurate vehicle condition communication and adherence to VIP standards.

The Tech-Advisor will participate in ongoing training, obtain ASE certifications, and help the team meet safety, quality, and productivity targets while delivering reliable service to automotive customers in Maine.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.
• Solid understanding of automotive servicing and customer service processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority; follow safety policies and report hazards.
• Assist customers at the counter as service writer; educate on vehicle condition per VIP processes.
• Work as a technician when needed; perform services per VIP standards and procedures.
• Obtain and maintain required LMS and vendor trainings; pursue ASE certifications as listed.
• Support store team to deliver a better customer experience and achieve VIP program standards.
• Maintain facility and equipment, ensure clean service area, and document issues in the tracking system.
