Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Tech-Advisor in Saco, Maine to deliver exceptional customer experiences at the service counter and assist as a technician when needed. The role emphasizes safety, VIP process adherence, and ongoing training in automotive services.

The position is hourly, non-exempt, with a standard 5-day work week and 40 hours. Candidates should have automotive service exposure and ASE certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• ASE Certifications (C1, P2, G1, A4, A5) and State Inspection License where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the counter as service writer; educate them on vehicle condition per MPI inspection.
• Perform shop technician duties when needed; complete services per VIP standards.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of the facility and equipment."
• Complete required LMS and vendor trainings; achieve VIP 5-for-5 customer education process.
