Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Tech-Advisor to deliver exceptional customer experiences at our Brunswick, ME location. This role blends front-desk service with shop duties, requiring the ability to educate customers on vehicle conditions and perform multiple tasks to VIP standards.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, completing service writer and installation technician duties, and continuous training to maintain certifications. A 40-hour work week is standard.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong organization and time management skills
• A comprehensive understanding of automotive servicing and the industry
• One year of related experience in automotive service field or equivalent combination

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is priority and follow safety policies
• Assist customers at the counter as service writer and educate them on vehicle conditions
• Perform technician duties and complete services per VIP standards
• Complete required training and certifications for both Service Writer and Installation Technician
• Strive for high customer engagement and productive billed hours
• Learn VIP processes and execute duties to deliver a better customer experience
• Maintain facility and equipment in safe, clean condition
• Enforce service ethics and regulatory compliance
• Communicate with management to ensure policy adherence
• Support management with daily/weekly/monthly performance reporting
• Adhere to a 5-day, 40-hour work week
