Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking a Tech-Advisor to support both service writers and technicians. The role requires communicating with customers, performing or supervising vehicle inspections, and delivering VIP standards with safety and quality.

Training will include LMS, vendor courses, and ASE certifications. The Tech-Advisor will split time between counter and shop, ensuring safety, efficiency, and a superior customer experience while meeting productivity targets and participating in ongoing

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to prioritize and implement solutions.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Solid understanding of automotive servicing and the industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace safety as a priority and follow all safety policies.
• Consult with customers at the counter; educate them about vehicle condition based on MPI inspection.
• Assist as a technician in the shop and perform services per VIP standards.
• Complete all required LMS and vendor training; obtain BATS, TPMS, and ASE certifications as directed.
• Aim for above-average customer engagement and productivity in billed hours.
• Support the team and management to deliver a better customer experience.
• Attend off-site trainings as needed; participate in team meetings.
• Maintain facility/equipment; ensure clean service area and report issues.
• Ensure compliance with service ethics and regulations.
