Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking a Tech-Advisor in Maine to support both service writer and installation technician duties. You will help educate customers about vehicle conditions, process VIP standards, and participate in training to attain BATS, TPMS, and ASE certifications.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while meeting productivity targets and scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Work at the counter as a service writer when needed, advising customers on vehicle conditions and VIP processes.
• Assist in the shop as a technician, taking work orders and performing services per VIP standards.
• Complete required LMS and vendor training and achieve certifications (BATS, TPMS, ASE).
• Ensure workplace safety and maintain facility and equipment.
• Communicate with management to ensure compliance with service standards and policies.
• Support the Service Manager in delivering a high-quality customer experience.
